The Firm 720p Movies

a5c7b9f00b Defense Attorney Mitch McDeere is targeted for execution by the Chicago Mob in retaliation for bringing down a profitable Mob-operated Memphis law firm ten years earlier. Based on the best-selling novel by John Grisham, "The Firm" is a new drama series that continues the story of attorney Mitchell McDeere who, as a young associate 10 years earlier, had brought down the prestigious Memphis law firm of Bendini, Lambert & Locke, which had been operating as a front for the Chicago mob. After a difficult decade, which included a stay in the Federal Witness Protection Program, McDeere and his family now emerge from isolation to reclaim their lives and their future -- only to find that past dangers are still lurking and new threats are everywhere. The pilot opens with Mitch McDeere played by Josh Lucas running from two guys, then something happens to show us that Mitch has a very dangerous past and present, and then we roll back six weeks before, from then until like the last minute, this becomes an incredibly boring TV Law Show.

I will be brief, because watching this was bad enough, when there is one bad performance, you blame the actor, but when nearly all performances were awful, you have to blame the director/executive producers.

The Private Detective is the cliché, ex-con, I'm your bro type, frankly that's 100% the character's fault, not the actor, who actually tries to deliver with some very poor material to work with, the wife played by Molly Parker, come across as annoying, Juliette Lewis is the only one who shows some decent personality and it's somewhat likable, the rest of the cast are so bland that they are not even worth mentioning.

Now about the main character, Mitch, played by Josh Lucas, he is the worst, incredibly annoying, a little self-righteous, and he simply doesn't deliver, possibly the worst acting in a very bad show, and I've seen other work with Josh Lucas, and he isn't nearly as awful as he is in this show.

It doesn't help that the character is supposed to be the son of a waitress with a coal miner who paid for his college waiting tables, instead, they cast someone who looks like a spoiled rich kid / frat guy with blue eyes, major miscast.

Anyway, simply don't watch it.

Rating: 2.5/10. At first glance, this show appears to be heading downhill with your cliché flashback, & not just one, but two. For me personally, it can be off-putting as you're left wondering at what point the story will return to the present and how long that will take. A somewhat sluggishly directed chase scene at the very beginning can be slightly discouraging, however, things can only get better!

From the main actor to the rest of the cast as introduced in the pilot, they all portray their characters well and deliver good performances. It's not a perfect set-up and there's room for improvement as far as some of the guest appearances are concerned, but all in all a good show!

Would I recommend this show to friends? Yes and hopefully they keep delivering!
